FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 2013, JDS Video & Media Productions, Inc. celebrated an anniversary milestone; 10 successful years in business.

On the Production front we have been keeping ourselves busy. January through June we worked with Abbott Vascular, Creating Content and Producing their 90 minute Live Customer Appreciation Event that is presented both in Temecula and Northern California.

We have also been working with the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce. We created a video series for their Etiquette Professional Development workshop and produced a marketing video for their Power Networking workshop.

We’re also very excited about the web series Good Day Temecula that we are producing for The City of Temecula. Visit our You Tube Channel to see the latest released episode.

In addition, we are also pleased to announce that we are working with South Coast Winery. It has been a great experience learning all about the vineyard and wine making industry.

When we are not creating video content we are inspiring Toddlers, Children, Teens and Adults through creative enrichment and learning the Craft of Acting at JDS Actors Studio. Scott Strand’s “Truth in Acting” coaching style gives actors of all ages a strong sense of self, utilizing a healthy Mind, Body and Spirit to project emotional and physical action into the portrayal of any character. Actors learn to make strong choices that are grounded in the text of the script yet not limited by anything – but the actors own imagination.

We have been very successful in helping Actors learn the entertainment industry and succeed in “Breaking In”. We are very proud of the talent that has developed in our studio. Our Actors that we have assisted in launching their careers are achieving great heights. We are proud to say that we have assisted over 35 actors break into the entertainment industry, as well as over 300 learn the craft of acting which provides self confidence and leadership skills.

Diane Strand has been out and about keeping a presence for JDS Video & Media Productions / JDS Actors Studio in the business community by being involved in the organizations that shape the region and support business growth. Diane started off the year committing to being an Ambassador for the Temecula Valley Chamber and in October ballots went out with her name on it as she is hoping to be voted in as a TVCC Board Member in 2014. In July Diane got appointed to the Riverside County Workforce Investment Board, and in addition to recently joining Women’s Pier Connection Diane served for her 4th year on the Women in Business Committee for the Temecula Chamber. As a board member and the Chair of the Marketing Committee for the EDC of Southwest California, Diane and the committee are working to promote the EDC and the Southwest California region. The Entrepreneurs Exchange asked Diane to speak this past May on the Power of Video Marketing. Diane is also a board member of Southwest Community Development Organization the nonprofit which launched the HIGHER program to help prepare high school seniors for entering the work force.

Both Scott and Diane feel it is important to sponsor local events and contribute to worthy nonprofit organizations. We are proud to say we are sponsors of the 2013 Susan G Komen IE Race for the Cure. In addition, we have donated six 8-week acting sessions to various silent auctions totaling $1,260.00 in services. And at JDS Actors Studio we collect money for Rancho Damacitas and buy Christmas presents for the Children’s Foundation to help those kids who can get forgotten have a happy holiday.
