Local Nonprofit Performs “Grease” as Part of its Annual Winter Showcase

Local nonprofit, JDS Creative Academy, puts on the production of Grease as its Winter showcase musical theater production . The musical theater class has been gearing up for this production since September and is excited to show off their hard work and skills! Reservations are required for attendance at JDS Studios on December 18 at 6PM and December 19 at 2PM. Donations are welcomed and encouraged!

During the Grease production, JDS Creative Academy’s other classes will also showcase their creative work. The fashion design class will present the outfits that they have been working on and the scriptwriting class will present their stories with the help of actors from JDS Actors Studio.

JDS Creative Academy founder, Diane Strand, is excited about having a full show back on the JDS Studio’s stage. “It’s been 2 years since we did a musical here at the studio. This is a fun show for everyone to get involved in. It’s wonderful to see the community come out, participate, volunteer, and be involved again- we may not be completely back to normal, but the #JDSFamily is sure trying to make it feel that way. “
